Sweden plans to be world's first oil-free economy

"Sweden is to take the biggest energy step of any advanced western economy by trying to wean itself off oil completely within 15 years - without building a new generation of nuclear power stations."

Can Quebec even DREAM of accomplishing this .... with Harper as prime minister ?

hah! Can the US even dream of it with King Bush?
Me, I'd like to see a commitment to make just California as oil independent as possible. It takes too much political will to make decisions that will be so hard in the short term. I'm so glad Sweden is going forward with this.
